Happy Birthday to meeeeeee

On friday I turned 32, and I got loads of wonderful presents :D
From my husband and kids I got a beautiful Blythe doll (ADG Pow Wow Poncho), and from my parents I got some fab clothes (among them a warm wool coat).
Here`s what I got from my two sisters (who I love very very much *huuuuug*)

From sister nr 2:Framed photos she has taken herself (both for me and my husband), scrapbook stickers and two vintage cherry bowls.

Dreambirds

I painted this little watercolor last night while watching tv. It has been a few months since the last time I painted anything... I`ve been busy with other projects like knitting tiny doll clothes for Blythe and Susie Sad Eyes.

A dolly Halloween

In my house even the dolls celebrate Halloween ;)

I have made the ghosts, toadstool cookies, plant and painting of the siamese twins myself. All the furniture are from my huge amount of craft supplies (I didn`t have to buy anything new), and all I had to do was painting them.

Snow, thrifting and baking

Last week it started to snow. I doesn`t mind snow, but it came a tiiiiny bit early this year I think. Usually the first snow of the season melts away fast, but this snow is still on the ground. Oh well, the kids are happy :)

Yesterday the kids and I went thrifting. The kids found a lot of toys and dolls, and I found these treasures. I looove the "chip and dip" plate, and the Bambi glasses are so cute.

After thrifting we did a little baking, and made these cheese and ham filled horns. They tasted so good. I think my husband ate 10 of them straight from the oven.

The shelf everything is standing on is soon going to be painted white. The polkadot box is filled with old photos, mostly cabinets.

I`m thinking on painting the breadbox bright red or torquise, but I kinda like it this way too.

Almost everything here is thrifted. I love old teacups :)

Old childrens books (thrifted) and old toys on top of a cabinet filled with all kinds of things. The cabinet is going to be painted white also.

Our tv, dvd collection, favourite books and beautiful art.

These pictures hangs in our bedroom.The little ceramic tile is vintage and says "Be quiet" in several languages. The large painting is a watercolor by me called "Klara wanted to be a mermaid". The two smaller images is an old postcard and an ATC made by a talented lady called Emma.

The cold windy Autumn

So Autumn is here for real now. The leafs has turned orange, yellow and red and the wind is colder. On the highest mountain tops we can see some snow already, and even the air smell like snow sometimes.

The kids enjoy playing outside picking berries, leafs and pretty stones, making their own little Autumn in a bucket.

I`ve taken out all my warm and cozy Autumn wear from my closet and drawers.

I love scarfs, thights, hats and mittens.... Autumn is my favourite time of the year.

Even sweet little Mimmi Sweettooth has dressed herself in warm Autumn colors :)

Jointed Paperdoll

I made this huge paperdoll during the weekend while watching LOTR. It`s a birthday present for my youngest sister who loves a little creepiness... just like me :)
